СКОЛЬКО (KAK) ВЕРЁВОЧКЕ НИ ВИТЬСЯ, А КОНЕЦ БУДЕТ СКОЛЬКО ВЕРЁВОЧКУ (ВЕРЁВКУ) НИ ВИТЬ, А КОНЦУ БЫТЬ (saying) underhanded dealings, depraved behavior etc, no matter how long they continue, will eventually be stopped: = the pitcher goes often to the well, but is broken at last the pitcher goes once too often to the well (in limited contexts) it will catch up with you in the end.
